I'm almost sure that the problem is a ddwrt. Note on local DNS server If you wish the router to associate certain local address to local IP's you can add those to the DNSMasq configuration options in the proper DD-WRT screen, or use a local DNS server, and put in a proper IP address for that server (usually a static server, within the scope of the network). Moreover if i dig it seems that is resolved without problem. I checked /etc/dnsmasq.d/nf and the nameserver with 8.8.8.8 are there. If it can be helped (i don't know if it can affect in certain way) there's also a vpn configured with Policy based Routing for certain clients in the router.

Add Requestor MAC to DNS Query adds the internal requestor's MAC address to the query sent to the upstream DNS server, which could be necessary if the upstream server filters requests by MAC. After i have configured it when i put to the router the ip of the raspberry as dns, the pi hole web page doesn't seem to open anymore and even the web interface of the Nas (Network error occurred. I tried reinstall pi hole, change even the rom of the raspberry(from osmc to pidiet) but nothing. I can access the settings page at 92.168.1.1, and in my computer's network settings, it says I am connected to the internet and have an ip address. The installation seemed to go fine, but the internet doesn't work. I recently installed DD-WRT on my TP-LINK wr841n v9 router. I have a router linksys wrt1200ac with ddwrt installed and probably there's some setting that cause a conflict even if i didnt remember to have change something in the last 2 months. Installed DD-WRT on router, DNS problems. I cant make pi-hole to work from 2 days now.
